Shipping/Receiving Customer Service

Job Description :
Our north of Boston manufacturing client has an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Shipping/Receiver and Customer Service associate.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Manage and process domestic/international shipping/receiving functions.

 

Compare packing slip with PO to verify accuracy of shipment.

 

Receive material into ERP system.

 

Unload and inspect incoming shipments for damages or defects.

 

Prepare outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx and DHL. 

 

Maintain accurate records of inventory.

 

Assist with customer service functions including taking and incoming calls and making outgoing calls to vendors.

 

Salary: $32k-$35k/year.

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.  

 

 
Required Qualifications :
High school/GED required.

 

Previous experience as a shipper/receiver or customer service associate desired. Will train the right candidate.

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Organized, dependable and attention to detail are all must haves.

 

The ability to work within a team.

 

Excellent customer service skills.

 

The ideal candidate will want to grow within the role and company.
