Senior Service Planner, $10,000 sign on bonus
·Candidate will develop and oversee Service refurbishment program, establishing common processes and procedures across multiple sites as a common ERP system is rolled out.
·Work with Field Service Managers to implement returned asset parts list(s) of parts and material required to be returned from the field.
·Work with Sourcing Team to manage OEM and supplier relationships for refurbishment and repair.
·Work with Logistics Team to manage reverse logistics of returned field material to/from manufacturing facilities to OEMs/Suppliers.
·Forecast expected material to be repaired and returned to field inventory and associated cost savings.
·Assess future demand to provide long range inventory availability to forecast, evaluate risks, make recommendations, and lead resulting actions.
·Improve service forecast accuracy by optimizing the use of statistical forecasting tools.
·Drive improvement in inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs to optimize inventory position and minimize E&O inventories; and seek areas of opportunity to increase business cost savings potential through refurbishment and other programs.
·Develop and maintain efficient and effective replenishment processes and strategies for all spare part depot locations.
·Present data on KPIs and metrics to senior management, such as customer order fill rates, inventory turns, refurbished product usage and cost savings.
·Identify and resolve conflicts with material availability, capacity availability and order promise data integrity to include excellent follow up and communication skills.
·Maintain master data, ensuring integrity of data to optimize inventory performance.
·Support business execution of customer upgrade programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, last time buy needs, phase-outs and distribution redesigns.
· Minimum 5 years of experience with demand management or inventory management in a service or refurbishment manufacturing environment.
· Working knowledge and experience with ERP and MRP systems (MS Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, etc)
· Proven track record in delivering change, process improvement, and root cause analytics.
