Job Description :

This position requires medical insurance knowledge in regards to the requirements for treating patients both medically and surgically.

Duties will include the review of schedules, prior to appointment dates, to confirm all patients have active and eligible insurance, referrals, and authorizations, if needed, and remain within their eligibility time frame.

It will also include obtaining and tracking those referrals and authorizations.

Required Qualifications :

Must be highly organized, detail oriented and a team player. Must be willing to take direction but able to also work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Experience with EPIC Practice Management System is preferred. Experience with Pain Management or a specialist practice is a plus.
