Our growing north shore machine shop client is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their quality team. This is a direct-hire position,

Monday - Friday: 7 am-3.30 pm.

Pay rate: $ 25 per hour.

The hired candidate will be responsible for the inspection of incoming components and raw materials, in-process inspection, and finished product inspection This is a well-established sheet metal shop.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct mechanical, dimensional, and visual inspections of the work-in-progress, first article, and finished parts and components using typical inspection devices and methodologies.

-Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, blueprints, schematics, shop routers, manufacturing specifications, and quality control documents.

-Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.  

-Prior CMM, Metrology, GDT experience as QA/QC inspector in a metal fabrication environment.

-Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (2015).  

-Knowledge of turbines (non-aerospace) a plus.

Skills: CMM, Metrology, GDT experience, Familiar with ISO 9001.
