Our Wilmington, MA machine shop manufacturing client has an immediate need for a Quality Control Inspector. This is a first shift, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm.

Contract to Hire position. Salary $23.00-$24.00 an hour.

·Works under close supervision of Quality supervisor

·Determines acceptance or rejection of product working from blueprints, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures

·Follows standardized and routine written directions for assigned quality assurance inspection operations

·Inspects in-process and/or finished metals and aluminum manufactured parts for conformance to quality assurance standards

·Visually inspects products using magnifying glass or other tools, using lot sampling methods.

·First article checks, or (occasionally) 100% inspection

·Performs manual bench inspection work to correlate and verify inspection results and/or quality of part falls within allowed tolerance range utilizing conventional layout inspection techniques and equipment

·Generates and completes all required documentation to ensure compliance of Quality Systems
