Our Merrimac, Ma sheet metal manufacturing client has immediate opening to a QC Inspector.

This is a Direct Hire/Full time, Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Hourly salary $32.00-$35.00

QC Inspector responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections for Final and In-process Inspections.


• Review paperwork and prepare final cert package, including Certificate of Conformance, dimensional report, all Certifications of Outside Vendors and material certifications, and any other forms required by customer.


• Creating Final Inspection Reports for parts when required and fill out as needed.


• Assuring that all parts going to stock are properly marked for traceability to original paperwork.


• Confirm type material using the material analyzer gun.


• Able to read and interpret blueprints, manual inspection tools.


• FPI through class training, material analyzer gun through training.

·Min of 3 years in a mechanical production Environment

·Use of standard inspection Equipment/ tools i.e.: Vernier's, Micrometers, Height Gages, Gage pins

·Knowledge of the gas turbine engine industry is a plus

 SKILLS: QC Inspection, Micrometeres, Height Gages, Gage Pins, 1^st article, in process inspection.
