Our Methuen, MA manufacturing client is seeking to hire a Production Planner.

Candidate will streamline and balance Customer Orders and Forecast with Installed Capacity and Resources

This is a direct hire opportunity. 90,000-$100,000

·Comprehend and reconciles bookings compared to available capacity and resources

·Coordinates daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules on potential improvements

·Recommend resource leveling as needed across different departments.

·Meet production needs, and to ensure on time customer delivery

·Maximize production efficiency and to meet customer needs

·Support daily production/ship meetings.

·Understand trends in booking rate versus deployed capacity and resources. 

·Implement monthly/quarterly summaries of revenue compared to On Time Delivery, Product Mix, and Profitability by area. 

·Consider efficiencies and poorer performing areas as a means to identify risks and to predict required investment in training, back-up resources, and new areas for process development.

·Manage all aspects of the production planning workflow and to set priorities

·Establish efficient process flow for job order launch to finish goods shipment, and work to agreed to company level functional cut-offs.

·Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, and Access.

·MES/ERP system experience

·Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles, as well as Six Sigma Training
