Nursing Program Director, Quality Compliance and Education - Summary:   Join our Merrimack Valley well established nonprofit healthcare organization in this vital role as Nursing Program Director - Quality, Compliance and Education.  Working under the VP of Nursing and Clinical Staff, be the interface between departments to support initiatives, strategies and compliance.

Will be responsible to ensure patient care is aligned with compliance and the on going monitoring systems are in place.  

Nursing Program Director - Responsibilities include:

• Develops plans to ensure new program development initiatives are in place


• Support development, implementation and evaluation of infection strategies


• Works to ensure compliance with the organization’s infection control standards


• Serves as liaison in the field of infection prevention


• Reviews clinical incident reports


• Works closely with managers and directors to formulate what action needs to be taken


• Develops structure for ongoing review and revision of nursing policy and procedures


• Works as the subject matter expert in the practice of care management

Nursing Program Director Qualifications:

• RN, BSN required, MS in nursing or other health related field desirable


• Currently registered in the state of MA


• 5 yrs + progressive program management experience


• Experience in managing infection control functions highly desirable


• Working knowledge of regulatory compliance (NCQA/PCMH, DPH)


• Experience in care management practice PCMH model highly desirable  


• Be a critical thinker, able to solve complex problems


• Strong leadership qualities

• Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
