Our advanced manufacturing client is partnering with Moore Staffing to hire a Materials Manager to join their team. The hired candidate will wear many hats managing all procurement, planning, inventory, receiving and distribution activities. This a well-run small business with industry leading products and an excellent client base.
·Develop and manage procurement processes
·Supplier selection, and management
·Inventory analysis and management of material
·Manage Engineering Changes Orders
·Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability.
·Develop and maintain ISO 9001 procedures
·Ensure adherence to Nonconforming Product processes
·Manage purchasing, materials handling and shipping and receiving departments
Inventory management, ERP, Excel, planning, negotiating, purchasing

·min of 5 years of purchasing, inventory, materials handling and shipping and receiving in a high volume manufacturing environment
·4 year degree in operations or business management
·Strong analytical, reporting and technical skills
·Strong skills with Excel and ERP software
·Strong negotiating skills
·Excellent experience managing high volume inventory
·Occasional travel to supplier facilities is required
