Material Handler

Job Description :
Our manufacturing client in North Andover is looking for temp-to-hire Material Handlers to move paper products around warehouse and production areas as well as prepare finished products for shipment. This position starts on 1st Shift (Mon-Thurs from 6:00AM – 4:00PM) with the possibility of moving to a hybrid or 2nd shift. Starting pay begins at $20/hour

 
Hybrid Shift Monday - Thursday  (Starting during the day and ending between 6:00PM and midnight) +7.5% shift differential
2nd Shift Monday - Thursday (4:00PM – 2:00AM) + 15% shift differential 

 

Material Handler Responsibilities: 



  • Remove finished paper products from high volume machines 

  • Properly apply labels & pack finished skids for shipping

  • Load products onto delivery trucks & vehicles

  • Cleanup and process waste paper


Required Qualifications :


  • Willing to learn/receptive to training 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 

  • Must live within 20 miles of North Andover and have dependable transportation.

  • Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus. 

  • Ability to work on the second shift (with pay increase).

  • Must pass a drug and background screen.
