Our Newburyport manufacturing client is hiring a temp to hire Material Handler/Packaging Warehouse Clerk.  full-time Monday-Friday 6AM-3PM position. This is a growing and well-run shop that produces parts for aerospace, medical device and automotive industries. In addition to this position, they are hiring for machine operations and material handler roles. 

Hourly Salary $21.00-$22.00

Production Associate Responsibilities

Load parts into tumblers for finishing and drying.

Run parts through cascade/separator to clean them prior to packaging.

Package parts for shipment.

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory (certification not required)

Check parts for visual defects.

Set-up and operate automatic scales.

Inspect equipment for proper operation.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.

Comply with quality management system requirements.

Requirements

Some mechanical ability

Basic record keeping and organizational skills

Some mechanical aptitude

Strong attention to detail

All candidates will be required to pass a CORI background check and drug screen that does not include marijuana.

Skills

Mechanical Aptitude, ability to lift 50 pounds

Salary and benefits….Our client is offering a starting salary of $20-$22.00 per hour for candidates with some production experience.  Candidates hired perm are offered an outstanding employee benefits package.
