Manufacturing Tech/Machine Operator, 2nd shift
Our start-up client is seeking a Machine operator for the 2nd shift. The candidate will work with a prototype of an industrial-scale metal additive manufacturing machine.
Monday-Friday ,3:00pm-11-30pm, 2nd shift.
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually.
-Responsible for completing the machine setup, overseeing the print process, and creating post-build reports.
-Will manage the life cycle of the metal powder material before and after the build.
-Perform preventative maintenance on the machines, including calibration of the measuring systems and laser scanning system.
-Must be able to wear a respirator for extended periods of time.
-In addition to operating a metal 3D printer, you will also be required to operate manual and CNC machines as required.
-Should have experience with either DED (Directed Energy Deposition) or PBF (Powder Bed Fusion)
-Capable of diagnosing and fixing malfunctioning equipment.
-Hands of experience with measuring precision instruments (micrometer, calipers, height gauges, precision scales, etc )
-CNC Programming a plus.
-Experience with Metal powder a plus.
-Two-year degree from Vocational school, college, technical institute or technical military training.
Skills: DED or PBF experience, CNC Programming, experience with metal powder or 3D printer
