Our growing medical device manufacturing company has need for a Fixed Prep Tech.

The Fixed Prep Orthodontic band technician will use a high-speed handpiece to carve shaping models of patient's teeth to fit bands, stainless steel crowns and brackets as part of the fabrication process. Will train, however candidates must have excellent hand/eye dexterity.

This is a great job if you're an artist, sculptor or musician.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm,  $20.00 an hour 

Background checks required

Responsibilities:

•Read prescriptions and identify how to carve for appliance to be crafted

•Work with hand tools, drills, saws and X-ACTO knives to prep stone and 3D printed models for fabrication of orthodontic appliances

•Carve out models

•Work in a stationary position sitting or standing for several hours at a time

•Exhibit great hand-eye coordination

Qualifications:

•Dental lab experience a plus

•Orthodontic practice experience a plus
