Electronics Technician ($500 sign on bonus!)

Job Description :

Our highly rated capital equipment fabrication client is hiring several full time Temp to Direct Electronics  Technicians for their first shift operation working from 6:00am to 2:30pm or 7:00-3:30.  There is plenty of overtime available! 


Electronics Technician Responsibilities

Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes and subassemblies per customer requirement.

Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bills of material.

Drill or tap holes to mount control units or to provide openings for components, wiring, or instruments.

Utilize a variety of small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.

Complete point-to-point wiring, and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, switches, etc.

Red-line documentation as necessary to initiate ECOs through Engineering.

Perform operations such as deburring, grinding & sawing. Operate hand pallet jacks to move material within plant.

Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.



Required Qualifications :
Minimum of a High School Education. 

Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired

3+ years’ experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics and electrical diagrams. An understanding of electrical currents.

Benefits and Salary

This position will pay up to $24 per hour.   While the hired candidate is working as a Moore employee until they become permanent- they are eligible for a 50% paid high quality health insurance plan after just 30 days.
