Our growing medical device manufacturing company has need for an Acrylic Finishing Technician.

The acrylic finishing technician will perform finishing work on all types of orthodontic appliances according to doctor’s prescriptions. This role is 100% hands on and requires a dedication to excellence and craftsmanship.

This position will require overtime hours in times of increased workload.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm, $20.00 an hour

Acrylic Finishing Technician responsibility

• Read prescriptions and identify appliance that has been crafted


• Follow detailed directions on how to finish appliances


• Use Biostar machine to make Essix retainers


• Use high-speed, hand-held finishing tool to smooth out rough edges & define desired form


• Use polishing lathe, steam wand and other tools as needed to polish and buff final product


• Work in a stationary position for several hours at a time


• ‪Exhibit great hand-eye coordination
