Job Description :

Our manufacturing client in North Andover is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator process commercial paper goods using specialized equipment in a detailed yet speedy manner. Training will occur during a fulltime 1st Shift (Mon-Thurs from 6:00AM – 4:00PM) and will last approximately 2-5 months depending on prior experience. Trainees will be paid $21-24/hour and be given a 15% increase in pay upon completion.

Full time 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 4:00PM – 2:00AM (hours may change slightly)

Pay after training will be between $24.15 - $27.60/hour

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

- Operating a large machine with moving mechanical parts

- Unwinding rolls of material, and processing sheets of material

- Hands on mechanical experience is a must

- Willing to consider candidates who have some sort of other heavy mechanical background, e.g. operating CNC machines, or repairing heavy mechanical equipment

- Some tech school or 2-year college in something mechanical preferred

Required Qualifications :

- Must have experience with heavy machinery

- Experience sheeting, coating, laminating, printing, or similar is a big plus

- All employees MUST be fully vaccinated prior to starting

- All employees must pass a physical exam prior to starting

- Must be able to lift 50lbs

- Ability to write and speak in English

- Basic math skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Team player
